Polydichloroethyl ether tetramethylethylenediamine (WSCP) is a strong cationic polymer with good solubility in water. It is a non-oxidizing fungicide flocculant. It has a broad-spectrum and efficient bactericidal and algae killing ability. It can effectively control the bacteria and algae reproduction and slime growth in the water. Has a certain degreasing, deodorizing ability and corrosion inhibition. It is widely used in circulating cooling water systems in the petroleum, chemical, power and other industries to control the growth of bacteria and algae in the circulating cooling water system, and has special effects on killing E. coli. Polydichloroethyl ether tetramethylethylenediamine can be used as bactericidal and antifungal agents and softeners, antistatic agents, emulsifiers, conditioning agents, etc. in the textile printing and dyeing industry, and can also be used as a surfactant in the washing and chemical industry.

It is a cationic polymeric algaecide, which can restrain kinds of algae in swimming pools. It is effectively against both the greenish free-floating varieties of algae and black algae which cling to the walls and bottoms of the pools. The regular usage of this item in swimming pools can overcome the problems caused by algae, specially increased chlorine demand. It can be used in acidic and alkaline water. Its most prominent advantages are non foaming, nontoxic and non-irritative, good stability and more safe when using in swimming pool, Spa and other cooling water system.
