PolyDADMAC CAS 26062-79-3

PolyDADMAC is the abbreviation for polydiallyldimethylammonium chloride. This chemical compound is an organic polymer . It is mainly used in paper manufacture to fix contaminants in order to reversibly bind anionic contaminants to the also negatively charged cellulose fiber due to its cationic character.

Property
This product is a strong cationic polyelectrolyte, colorless to light yellow viscose liquid. Dissolved in water easily, safe, non-toxic, noteasy to combust, strong coagulate dint, good water solution stability, do not become gel and keep stable in a wide pH range, anti-chlorine. Freezing point: -2.8 degree centigrade, specific weight: 1.04 g/cm3, resolve temperature 280 - 300 degree centigrade.

Use
Used as flocculants in water and wastewater treatment. In the mining and the process procedure of mineral, it's used as dewatering flocculant which can extensively applied in treating various mineral mud, such as coal, taconite, natural alkali, gravel mud and titania. In the textile industry, it's used as formaldehyde-free, color-fixing agent. In the papermaking, it's used as paper conductivity paint to make conductive paper, AKD sizing promotor. Furthermore, this product also can be used as conditioner, antistatic agent, wetting agent, shampp, emollient and so on.
