High molecular weight DADMAC polymers
High molecular weight DADMAC polymers are produced by polymerizing an inverse latex of DADMAC with 0.5 to 3 weight percent acrylamide. The polymerization uses a low HLB emulsifier and a free radical initiator.

DADMAC is a high purity, aggregated, quaternary ammonium salt and high charge density cationic monomer. Its appearance is colorless and transparent liquid without irritating smell. DMDAAC can be dissolved in water easily. Molecular Weight:161.5. There is alkenyl double bond in the molecular structure and can form linear homopolymer and all kinds of copolymers by various polymerization reaction. The features of DADMAC are: very stable in normal temperature, unhydrolyzed and noninflammable, low irritation to skins and low toxicity.
It can be used in solution polymerization and emulsion polymerization to form linear homopolymers and various copolymers.It can be used in the production of cationic flocculant, antistatic coating, paper-making intensifier, retention and drainage aid, oilfield drilling auxiliaries, textile auxiliaries, daily chemical additives and so on.

The product shall be stored in a sealed way under shady and ventilated conditions, to avoid the sunshine,and avoid contacting strong oxidants.
