Diallylamine Hydrochloride - Diallylamine HCl

Diallylamine Hydrochloride - Diallylamine HCl

[Molecular formula] C6H12ClN
[CAS NO.] 6147-66-6
[Other name] diallylamine chloride, Diallylamine Hydrochloride, N-2-propenyl-2-propen-1-amine hydrochloride

Property
Diallylamine hydrochloride is a monomer of high purity, polymerization grade, secondary amine salt, and high charge density. Its aqueous solution is a slightly yellow transparent liquid with no pungent odor, with a slight viscosity, and diallylamine hydrochloride is very easy to absorb water, completely and easily soluble in water. Its molecular formula is C6H11N · HCl and its molecular weight is 133.62. The molecular structure contains alkenyl double bonds, which can be used to form linear homopolymers and various copolymers through various polymerization reactions.

It is characterized by being very stable at room temperature, non-hydrolytic, non-flammable, low irritation to the skin, and low toxicity. This product is an aqueous solution with a content of 50%.

Uses
Monomers can be mainly used as intermediates in pharmaceutical manufacturing, and can be formed into polymer series products by copolymerization with other monomers.

Its polymer can be used as a superior formaldehyde-free fixing agent in textile dyeing and finishing auxiliaries, and can form a film on fabrics to improve dyeing fastness. It can also be used as a retention filter in papermaking auxiliaries, and antistatic for paper coating AKD ripening accelerator; in oilfield chemicals, it can be used as clay stabilizer, acidic fracturing fluid cationic additive, etc.

Its main role is to electrically neutralize, adsorb, flocculate, purify, and decolorize. Especially as a modifier for synthetic resins, it imparts conductivity and antistatic properties.
