Diallyldimethylammonium chloride (DADMAC) is a viscous, colourless to pale yellow liquid with slight odour. mainly used as cationic monomer in resins production.

It is a water-soluble monomer of cationic quaternary ammonium salt with high efficiency. There is an alkenyl double bond in the molecular structure and can form linear homopolymer and all kinds of copolymers by various polymerization reactions.

It is a quaternary ammonium salt with high density charge and can be dissolved in water very easily. It is non-flammable, non-explosive and stable at room temperature.

The polymers occurring by DADMAC reaction is also known as poly-DADMAC and finds its application in a wide range of industrial application.

Our Chemicals can provide different 2 main grades of DADMAC: 65% or 60% according to customer demand.

Uses:
It is mainly used to produce polymers. It is used to synthesize all kinds of macromolecular water treating agents whose functions are neutralization, absorption, flocculation, purification, and decoloring, showing excellent effect in decoloring, killing algae, and removing organic compounds in wastewater treatment, paper making, and textile printing&dyeing industry.

DADMAC is also used as a modifier of synthetic resin to bring products electrical conductivity and antistatic property. DADMAC is often used as additives in daily chemicals to improve and modify product performances. As to petroleum chemicals, DADMAC can be used as flocculants and blocking agents.

It can be used as cationic monomer to produce monopolymer or copolymers with other monomers. The polymers can be used as formal-dehyde-free color-fixing agent in the textile dyeing and finishing auxiliaries, film forming on the fabric and improve the color fastness; In papermaking additives can be used as retention agent, paper coating antistatic agent, AKD sizing promotor; Can be used in decoloringflocculation in the process of water treatment and purification with high efficiency and non-toxic;
In daily chemicals, can be used asshampoo' combing agent, wetting agent and the antistatic agent; In oilfield chemicals can be used as clay stabilizer, cationic additive inacid and fracturing fluid and so on. Its main role is electric neutralization, adsorption, flocculation, cleaning, decoloring, especially assynthetic resin modifier for conductivity and antistatic property.
